In the beginning of 2023, our founder Leo had the privilege of visiting Mia's Healing Sanctuary in Uluwatu, Bali. Nestled amidst the natural beauty of the island, Mia's Healing Sanctuary is a remarkable place dedicated to caring for and rescuing stray dogs.

At the heart of this sanctuary is Mia, an extraordinary 11-year-old girl who has taken it upon herself to provide love and compassion to these abandoned animals. With unwavering determination, Mia began her journey by simply feeding street dogs and offering medical care to the ones in need. 

Over the years, Mia's dedication has grown, and she has successfully realized her dream of establishing a sanctuary for these stray dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. Not only does she rescue dogs in distress, but she also extends her kindness to a Balinese family who were before they met Mia without a home. Mia and her mother graciously offered them a place to live at the sanctuary, as an exchange to care for the dogs, feed them and ensure their well-being and safety. 

However, Mia's work cannot continue without the support of compassionate individuals like you. Donations play a vital role in sustaining the sanctuary and providing for the needs of the animals. Your contributions help Mia offer a loving home, food, sterilization, vaccinations, and cover any necessary veterinary bills.
